About Us: Jayashree Art is a trusted and renowned art institution based in Ranchi, Jharkhand, dedicated for the past 18 years to the preservation, revival, and promotion of Sohrai and tribal paintings. Our aim is not only to promote traditional art but also to empower men and women by providing skill based training that enables them to become self-reliant. This commitment has made Jayashree Art a reliable centre for Jharkhand’s traditional art and an inspiring platform for emerging artists.
Mission:-To preserve, promote, and revive Sohrai and Jharkhand’s tribal art traditions.  To empower artists—especially women and youth—by providing skill-based training that enables them to become self-reliant.  To create new livelihood opportunities by connecting traditional art with modern markets, design, and technology.  To strengthen art-based livelihoods in both rural and urban communities.  To showcase Jharkhand’s cultural heritage on national and international platforms.

List of Works Accomplished by Jayashree Art :- 1. Beautification of more than 150 railway stations through Sohrai and traditional tribal paintings. 2. Conducted painting workshops and exhibitions in over 50 schools and colleges. 3. Provided training to more than 1000 women, helping them become skilled and self-reliant. 4. Revival and promotion of Sohrai and other Jharkhand tribal art forms since 2007. 5. Executed various art projects for government and private institutions. 6. Contributed significantly to women empowerment through art-based initiatives. 7. Recognized and honored by Indian Railways, Government of India officials, and several prestigious organizations for outstanding work in tribal art.

Dokra frame with painting:- Brass is used to make Dokra. First a wax frame is prepared and then brass is melted in it and molded. After this, Sohrai painting is made on the mount by the artists, due to which the beauty of the framing increases and this frame attracts people towards itself.
